KUGOS!

It was an ordinary school day, i came to school earlier as i expected, few of the students keep gathering in front of the school gate together with parents and guardians. One of the students in uniform shout Sir Hanz!, i heard it and start looking who called me, all the people in that place looks at me while i am still looking who called me. I feel ashamed, suddenly a student coming from my back hug my hip and start saying, "ika na po ang bagong idol ko sir!"

I was shocked by his statement, but all i can do is to smile and look around and see the faces of the parents all smiling at me..kakaiba an pagmati..

Dae ko expected na an first time ko na magtukdo sa Evangelical Christian School would be as exciting as this. All of them are screaming " yeheey si sir hanz an ang teacher mi" evereytime na malaog ako sainda para sa subject ko..mau nin grade level na dae na xecite..anu baga an igwa ako ta arog kaini an acceptance ninda sako..Over whelming..

Maam Michelle came to me while i am in the faculty one afternoon excited to tell me about what she has recently discovered in her sibika class in grade 1a, she asked them whom person they admired?..3 of them shouted sir Hanz..wow!..ako daw nakakapatawa sa kanila and the whole class agreed by shouting "ay iyop po si sir hanz..

Nasusupog man ako minsan sa mga co- teacher ko dahil may mga pagkakataon na maagi ako sa front kan classroom ninda and one of the student ran outside and calls my name even they are having lessons.Minsan man naglaog ako sa grade 1a para magahapot sa teacher regarding sa schedule kan next subject niya nagdalagan bigla an sarong estudyante and pigkugos ako sa may hita ko and nagkurahaw dae kan maghali sir...(iyo pa lang kaya an abot ninda an legs ko)..One time i am in grade 2a, one of my student came to me and said "sir maghaloy ka po dgdi sa school iyo"..

An siring na mga pangyayari an nagpakusog kan boot ko para maging confident sa gigibo ko..since it is my first time to teach in formal education dakulon akong fears..at first i have to met my own standard, secondly an expectation kan mga co-teachers and the administration on how i handle my class..lalo pa ta mga pasaway an pirang mga estudyante.. but i hope my students will help me to overcome it..(pakiulay lang po class, dae pakaribok pag si sir hanz na an teacher nindo..)

Pag abot na man sa mga co- teachers ko, so far magayun an iribanan mi and sana dagos dagos na man..sinda man an nagtatatabang sako para makadjust sa work..sana dae kamu masawa kun sige ko lang hapot regarding sa pagibo lesson plans..and sana dae ko kamu madisappoint..bako akong BANAL siring kan iniexpect nindo..baka ako pa ngani mangienot sa mga kapilyuhan and kalokohan..basta kun may maitatabang ako just come and aks me..lalo na sa mga tsekan na books and test papers..(basta libre an snack)

hahahaha..salamat sa mga kwentuhan during luchtime..nakakahali stress..

SAGWAN! SAGWAN!

As I see at it, it has nothing but a silhouette, clear as water in the air, prism cant do nothing to make it visible though mist is in the air.

An audible sounds are present but can not be understand, to my ears it is like a whisper, feeling the warmth of breath and feeling the touch on my shoulder, it is like an embrace of love that nothing words could express. uttering a word of compassion and comfort makes my whole being shivered.

The smell of sweet sent flew over my face, ignoring it for i am expecting more of it, but before i realized, that was my only chance i had, the sweet scent gone by. Disappointed with my wrong doing, over-confidence and arrogance are my best-friends. I must learn to let go of the things that can't do nothing for me, even it could break my whole being, but i do believe that it can make a better me.

Walking in the path without destination, many times i stumble and dust of the roads covered my eyes, the words of encouragement runs through my brain. As i rub the back of my hand to make my sight clearer, i see a shadow of me full of hesitations and doubts.

Looking back the road i traveled, i see lot of road blocks destroyed,i smile and look at it as a challenged that i passed on. I feel a new me, pride i had in me gradually disappeared. The journey must continue, believing, hoping, trusting that God will make my way simple, easy to bear and enjoyable.

I've learned that leaving the burdens behind makes my journey lighter and and help me to see what is ahead of me.

Excited to see what the silhouette , the scent, the whisper is, i must work hard to make my journey completed before i lost another chance. SAGWAN lang Hansel SAGWAN lang!!!! keep your faith high, continue in believing that every end of the road is an ocean full of hope and grace from God. God will sail with you until you reach the other shore.
